This is a really easy-peasy DIY. I used a broken leather bag strap for this and I think it's a good way of recycling and re-purposing something that's no longer useful. Ideas : 1. Colour the ends with a different colour i.e White, neon colours. 2. Turn the collar around so the rounded side is in front. | Directions Cut, Sew, Glue What you need Leather strap, scissors, glue & velcro |

I think it's rather obvious that I own a lot of clothes from high street brands. What's not to like about them? Affordable and on-trend, they're a girl/ boy's best friend when it comes to shopping. But they're not exactly a walk in the park for someone who's trying to be a smarter shopper (aka me). The only trick that seems to work for me is adopting a more "clinical" point of view whenever I find myself in a shop. I tend to question the sensibility of a purchase, the origins and eco-friendliness of the product and on a more superficial level, cataloging all the parts that are disagreeable with my sense of aesthetics i.e level of gaudiness while also checking out how well it fits and flatters. It sounds really troublesome, but it helps me hold onto my rationality when I'm surrounded by gorgeous things. It does make shopping a tad less fun, but I like to think that the final satisfaction from a buy that fulfills all my criteria would be much greater than a temporary high from a impulse buy. | ASOS COAT UNIQLO SHIRT H&M VEST BERSKHA PANTS MONKI BAG |
